    Nice Looking Better Date Variety Coin. This is the harder to find Small Date 1857 coin. Nice Even Chocolate Brown Color, Super Eye Appeal. Nice Full LIBERTY, Full Date & Nice Rims. Nice Hair & Cord Details. Nice Reverse Details show. Please bid with confidence because I stand behind what I sell.
    If you see a shine on the coin, this is from reflections from the camera light. I have to let the light shine on the coin as much as possible to show the details. This makes the coin look shined up in that area, or sometimes it looks shined up all over.
    THE BAD NEWS:
    Not real bad, but has a scratch and mark in the left obverse field. Sometimes things like this can be expected because these coins were used as real money long ago. Most coins have flaws, it's just a matter of what is acceptable for the grade. Still a very pleasing coin.
