for "The Raven” by Cindee Moyer. It was originally a four week online class. This is 11.5
inch doll is impersonating a raven. She sits comfortably on her feathered nest and hides behind her mask. Her feather headdress and shoulders add to her disguise. She is reading "The Raven" by Edgar Allen Poe. Her mask can be made to wear or attached to a handle for her to hold. She wears a necklace that is an altered charm that resembles a raven.
In this class you will be creating a doll with a sculptured and skinned face (the face is all fabric and needle sculpted). The 'skin' is an overlay of thin fabric that hides the stitches and makes a more finished look that is painted and shaded with decorative chalks. She has wired hands for articulation. You will create the nest, a miniature book, a glittered mask with a beak and the headdress.
**You are not purchasing a finished item. I do not sell readymade dolls. It is a DIY (Do It Yourself) project. This pattern/class tutorial will instruct you how to make your "Raven" doll.
