    Pippa is 17 inches (43 cm) and Pet Caterpillar 6 inches (15 cm)
    She is a simple jointed doll able to be posed. There are no armatures. Plenty of pictures take you step-by-step through the needle-sculpting process.
    Pippa has simple arms and legs. The pattern could be enlarged for a toy doll to dress and undress. Her top can be lengthened to make a dress, and her shorts shortened for knickers! The shorts are made baggy to accommodate movement.
    Pippa can sit cross-legged, and kneel. Or, she can dangle her legs while sitting on a shelf. Arms can be folded, or stitched together to hold the caterpillar.
