Awaiting your purchase is a wonderful English Georgian sterling silver vinaigrette made in
1822
by a
London, England
silversmith.
The outside of the case is decorated in a sublime pattern with high
relief
, and an empty cartouche to the lid ( just waiting for your initials) and the interior is beautifully gilded, as is the hinged and floral pierced grille. It bears hallmarks to the inside of the base, the inside of the lid, and the underside of the grille. This wonderful item remains in
very good to excellent antique condition
with age-appropriate wear. It has tight closure and bears
no monogram
. Just beautiful!
