No splits or tears, but two areas of slight fraying on the left edge as shown in last 2 photos, visible but not very noticeable when hung for display. With wooden display rod and knobs, satin fringe and tassels. Wrinkled from storage, can be pressed by buyer. Some fading and slight spotting on the back as shown.

    From the vintage award collection of a multi-generation New England AYRSHIRE dairy farm! You will probably NEVER see another one of these!
    Vintage PREMIER EXHIBITOR Award for AYRSHIRE Dairy CATTLE from the 1959 National DAIRY CATTLE CONGRESS National AYRSHIRE SHOW held in WATERLOO IOWA USA.
    Color is Royal PURPLE Satin with GOLD trim and lettering and GOLD FRINGE and tassels, with Wooden Display Rod with Knobs.
    Heavy and substantial with 2 layers of satin, completely surrounded with gold trim, with gold fringe and tassels on the bottom.
    ALL HANDMADE!
    Sized 21" wide x 31" tall
