tutorial for "Reif - Guardian of the Deep!" by Sharon Mitchell. Reif is often seen working with Greenpeace during clashes on the high seas. He's currently organizing shoals of fighting fish, using his guard fish, Snapper, to repel and disrupt underwater blasting in NZ waters and to create general mayhem to protect the undersea environment.
The tutorial is 38 pages of excellent, detailed instructions and photos that will teach you how to create your own 27" merman. Sharon takes you step-by-step showing you how to needle sculpt his body so that you achieve his muscular appearance and handsome face. You'll learn how to make the armature, color the face, create his dreadlocks, his costume and trident.
