RARE VINTAGE MID CENTURY Anchor HockingOyster and Pearl set
These are very rare, mid century modern, vintage pieces from the Oyster and Pearl pattern made by Anchor Hocking. Anchor Hocking produced various multi colored sets of this pattern, featuring a seashell like exterior in depression glass and in the creamy white vitrock firing of pastels. These pieces are the pink or peach firing, believed to produced in the 1950’s however, they may be even older and are extremely hard to find. These were mainly designed to be used as dessert dishes but can be used as trinket and/or candy dishes. The large fruit console bowl measures approximately 10 5/8”. The handled heart bowl is 5” and the lotus flower bowl is approximately 4 1/2 “.
Please review the photos for specific flaws. Of note, the large bowl has a few scuffs on the rim and minor specks inside. The bottom of the bowl has a weird darker area likely from when it was fired. Hairline crazing
appears to be developing on the outline of this area. No other crazing noted. The heart shaped bowl has a small crack on the lip. No other notable flaws are noted on the smaller bowls however, there may be slight manufacturers flaws or color fading due to age.
